Elizabeth Root MA, LMFT
Beth is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, and complex trauma. She is an AIR Network provider and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Beth also draws from Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Helping, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. She has extensive experience working with kids, adults and families that have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse, spiritual abuse, adoptions, addiction and divorce.
Beth holds a master’s degree in counseling and psychological services and a post graduate certificate in marriage and family therapy. She finds value in bringing supportive family members into the process of healing when appropriate. She takes special interest in clients who have experienced brain injuries, and first responders who are searching for a place to process the effects of secondary trauma. Beth believes in providing a safe place to heal and to discover a preferred vision for the future.
